The Details

Once the final price is paid, you will receive your passage within the timeframe discussed.

Your passage should arrive free of spelling and/or grammar errors. However, if something isn’t right, you are entitled to ONE free revision. All other revisions (excluding typos or spelling/grammar) will be an additional $5.00 per revision.

Reading level will be based on the Lexile™️ framework. You will have the opportunity to submit sample writing, so we can be sure to be on the same page.

Standards-Alignment can be of any ELA standard (CCSS or your state). You will have the opportunity to paste or type in the standard you wish to be covered in the passage. You may enter up to three standards. No prompts are included with your purchase. Adding the standards make it easier for you to develop your activities that will accompany your passage. For instance, if your activity is covering figurative language or verb moods, I can be sure to sprinkle in plenty of examples in your passage!

The Standards-Alignment add-on fee will NOT be applied for non-ELA content. For example, if you request a non-fiction passage over the Civil Right Movement, you can still include the Social Studies standard that requires the Civil Rights Movement free of charge. Sometimes standards (and elements) ask for certain people, places, and events to be specifically covered within a topic. This will not be an additional charge, as it helps me to cover everything you need in your passage.

Your passage can be used for personal or commercial use. This means that you can use it in your classroom or to sell it in your TeachersPayTeachers, Amazon, or any other store. Once you receive your passage, I will not use or distribute your passage.

Your passage will be my original intellectual work. You can be confident that your passage will not be plagiarized.

Your passage will be delivered via email in a .docx format (from Microsoft Word). This will ensure that you have ownership of the document without any complications that can happen when using shared file services (like Google Drive or Dropbox). If you plan to use your passage for commercial use, you are responsible for changing the font to a font for which you have the copyright to use.

Your passage will NOT include any photos, images, maps, or clip art.

Payment must be paid via PayPal. Payment is expected after your order is placed (but prior to receiving the passage). Once you place your order, I will contact you directly within 1-2 business days with a delivery date and a final price. Once you pay the final price, I will begin working on your passage. You will receive your passage within the timeframe discussed.
